Chawton House Library
Chawton House Library is a charity with a unique collection of books focusing on women's writing in English from 1600 to 1830. This specialist collection, set in the home and working estate of Jane Austen's brother, provides the opportunity to study and savour the texts in their original setting.
Website
We designed and built the Chawton House Library website, which includes a section on the historic house and estate and its restoration, details about the library and its collection (including biographies of women writers and online novels), and information about visiting the house and supporting the charity.
Publications
We designed an A4 fundraising brochure about the work of the charity, full of beautiful images of the house and estate, and aimed at potential donors and supporters.
We also designed a series of DL leaflets publicising various membership options for supporting the charity.
We designed a generic invitation – a gate-folded card that makes full use of the image of the newly-restored Walled Garden gates.
